Since Hamas decided to attack Israel on October 7, the door to hell has opened. Israel bombs the Gaza Strip incessantly by land, sea and air. The dead are already in the tens of thousands, mainly women and children.
In the West Bank they are taking advantage to continue their destruction, occupying land, destroying facilities, detaining people, killing them… Making life impossible.
Since we saw the Hamas attack and what happened on October 7, that day we began to fear for Palestine. If things were already the way they were, Nethanyahu and his men were not going to miss this opportunity to sweep into Gaza. Unfortunately that has been the case.
Almost all the media are giving very biased coverage, sometimes quite biased. We therefore decided to inform ourselves as locally as possible, going to those who were there. Some of them seem like our family: Motaz, Bisan, Sami… Eye on Palestine is our direct communication network with the fringe.
It was becoming more difficult every day for us to normalize live death. Seeing a girl crying in front of her dead father, a shaking baby, one lifeless body after another, mothers crying inconsolably, desperate fathers, destroyed hospitals with dejected doctors and nurses, doing magic with hardly anything.
Until when can we continue normalizing this situation. We are witnessing the death of thousands of people, broadcast live. And they no longer only die from projectiles and bombs. They have no water, food, medicine. It’s winter, it’s cold and it’s raining. They are dying of hunger and cold. They are dying of despair. It’s called GENOCIDE.
That is why we have decided to create this blog to disseminate all the voices we are hearing about. We have decided to be a speaker so that your voice does not go out. We have decided to make known the support that is being produced around the world.
Spread the word too, we can’t stay doing nothing.
